 WAUGH PTO FUN RUN 2025!

The Waugh PTO is excited to announce the 2025 return of the annual FUN RUN! Today, your Waughsome student attended our Fun Run Kick-Off Assembly and learned all about the Waugh PTO Fun Run!  This event is the biggest fundraiser of the 2025/2026 school year and is very crucial for funding the Waugh School District’s Music, Art, Library and Technology programs (MALT) in addition to Teacher Classroom Funds. Our goal this year is to raise $150,000!  Students can get donations by sharing their fundraising link, earn prizes and will run the Fun Run track with their class during school hours on Friday, October 3rd!  The run schedule will be released at a later date.  

 

To collect donations, we will be using Membership Toolkit through our Waugh PTO website! Donations will be accepted through October 5th.  We will have raffle prize drawings weekly and prizes will be sent home with students on 9/12, 9/26 and 10/8.  The prize sheet and instructions will be sent home in tomorrow's Wednesday folder!

ATTENTION! We are in need of quite a few parents to help with their student's class on the day of the Fun Run.  We will need volunteers to help students put on colored bandanas, school spirit tattoos, colored washable temporary hair spray and hand out popsicle treats to students after their run!   You will be able to watch your student run after helping them get ready and before they eat their popsicle treat!  Please review the available sign-ups that are organized by grade level and volunteer if you will be there to watch your student run!  Any and all adult family members are welcome to volunteer!

 FREE Outdoor Movie Night on 9/19!

 

 

Our first Waugh PTO family event of the year is the FREE Outdoor Movie Night in the Corona Creek Courtyard on Friday, September 19th starting at 6:15pm. The movie will start at 7:00pm. Feel free to bring your own food, chairs, blankets, etc. We will have concessions available to purchase and free popcorn! 

All Waugh families at both Meadow & Corona Creek are invited!  This is not a drop off event. We hope to see you there!  We are also looking for volunteers to help with concessions and popping popcorn!  Please sign up using the link below.

Brewster's Dine & Donate on 9/18 - 11:30AM-9PM 

 

September's Dine & Donate is at Brewsters Beer Garden in Petaluma on Thursday, September 18th from 11:30am-9pm.  Make sure to bring this flyer or show an electronic copy of it on your phone when you arrive for your reservation or to pick up your order!  We earn 15% back on all orders for our schools!

There is no minimum level of participation required to be a general PTO member.

 

The Waugh PTO is a Parent Teacher Organization that supports and enriches our students, teachers and schools by fundraising for music, art, library and technology programs, while also providing teacher classroom funds, and engaging families through community events.
