Waugh PTO Fun Run Business Sponsors Needed!

What is the Fun Run?

The Fun Run is the biggest fundraiser of the 2026-2027 school year for the Waugh School District! Students will get be able to get sponsors, earn prizes and run the Fun Run track during school hours with their class on Friday, October 3rd! Our goal this year is to raise $150,000! We will be having our amazing Fun Run kick-off assembly during school hours the first week of September, where we will show the students all of the fun prizes they can earn through this fundraiser!

This event is loved by all and is crucial for funding the Waugh School District’s Music, Art, Library and Technology programs (MALT) in addition to Teacher Classroom Funds. The State of California only provides enough funding for a basic education. It is therefore the responsibility of local school districts to supplement state funding when needs arise. According to the Sonoma County Office of Education’s 2024–25 statistical review, the Waugh Elementary School District has the lowest funding per Average Daily Attendance (ADA) among all Sonoma County school districts when measured on an ADA basis.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in being a Sponsor for the 2026 Waugh District Fun Run! All sponsors will be added to a shirt worn by nearly 1000 students and staff members all year long!

All donations are genuinely appreciated and directly support both elementary schools in the Waugh School District. The deadline to get your company name or logo on the t-shirts is Friday, August 28th so we can get the t-shirts ordered in time for the event on October 2nd.

Beyond the Glory Dine & Donate on 8/25!

August's Dine & Donate is at Beyond the Glory on Tuesday, August 25th from 11am-9pm.  Dine in or take out.  Help support the Waugh School District by mentioning the Waugh PTO!  We earn a % back on all orders for our schools!

Kona Ice after School - 8/26 & 8/27!

Kona Ice will be available for purchase and will be parked at both Campuses (Meadow and Corona Creek) once a month in August, September, October, March, April and May!  Bring your Kollectable or Color Changing Cup from home for a $4 refill!

Meadow - Thursday, 8/27 from 2:00PM - 4:00pm

Waugh PTO Meeting on 9/1 @ 7pm

Waugh PTO meetings are generally held the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7pm with the first half of the year in the Meadow MPR and the second half of the year in the Corona Creek MPR. Feel free to come as early as 6:30pm.  Come find out our plans for the school year and how you can get involved! 

 

For those that cannot make it, there will be a zoom link available.

This is open to all Waugh families at both Meadow and Corona Creek.

  Waugh PTO Membership for 2026-2027

There is no minimum commitment required!

It's time to sign up for a Waugh PTO 2026-2027 Membership! Please help support our Waughsome Students and Staff all year long!  You can choose how much time you can contribute.  

There is no minimum level of participation required to be a general PTO member.

The Waugh PTO is a Parent Teacher Organization that supports and enriches our students, teachers and schools by fundraising for music, art, library and technology programs, while also providing teacher classroom funds, and engaging families through community events.
