 Halloween Carnival - Saturday, 10/18 12-3PM 

 

The Waugh PTO is excited to have a Halloween Carnival again this year!  This is a family friendly event, and we welcome all of our Waugh families to attend from both Meadow and Corona Creek!   There will be lots of spooky carnival games, prizes and concessions at the event.  Costumes are welcome and encouraged!  Please see important details about the carnival below:

• The carnival will be on Saturday, October 18th, from 12PM-3PM at Meadow School! 
• Wristbands are available for pre-purchase on our website by clicking on this link:

  • Wristbands are required to play games.  We will not be selling individual tickets per game.
  • Pre-Sale price is $18 per Wristband online now through 10/16. 
  • After 10/15, wristbands will only be available at the door and are $20 each.  You do not need to purchase in advance to attend.
  • Each wristband includes UNLIMITED GAME PLAY!
  • There will be no refunds.
  • **PLEASE NOTE: A Wristband is not required for entry. A wristband is required to participate in carnival games.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS!!

In order to make this event a success, we need help the day of the event with setup, registration, carnival booths, facepainting, dressing up as a mascot, concessions, cleanup and other volunteer opportunities.  We would love to have teenage siblings/friends help volunteer as well!  Please find the signup genius below and volunteer if you are able to.  We appreciate our community coming together to help make this a great day for our Waugh students and families!

Waughsome Pumpkin Coloring Contest!

We are excited to bring back the Waughsome Pumpkin Art Contest!  All students will take home a Blank Pumpkin Paper Sheet (in THIS week's Wednesday Folder, 10/1) and use their imagination to design and color a one-of-a-kind pumpkin masterpiece!  This is just for fun and not mandatory.

 

Completed Pumpkin decorated art sheets should be turned back into your student's teacher no later than Thursday, October 16th.  All artwork will be displayed around campus for the Waugh PTO board to vote!  Prize winners for each school in each grade level will be announced on Friday, October 31st!

 Kona Ice after School - 10/22 & 10/23!

Kona Ice will be available for purchase and will be parked at both Campuses (Meadow and Corona Creek) once a month in October, March, April and May!  Bring your Kollectable or Color Changing Cup from home for a $4 refill!   Corona Creek - Wednesday, 10/22 from 1:15pm - 3:00pm Meadow - Thursday, 10/23 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm   Kona Ice accepts Cash, Card Venmo, CashApp and Apple Pay!

The Waugh PTO is teaming up again with 1st Place Spritwear for the 2025/2026 School Year!  There are so many options to choose from: T-Shirts, hoodies, zip-ups, shorts, sweatpants, hats, cups, bags, blankets, Mom & Dad options, Grandparent options, Teacher options and more!  The store will be open all year long, 24/7 and your orders will ship directly to your house!

There is no minimum commitment required!

It's time to sign up for a Waugh PTO 2025/2026 Membership! Please help support our Waughsome Students and Staff all year long!  You can choose how much time you can contribute.  

There is no minimum level of participation required to be a general PTO member.

The Waugh PTO is a Parent Teacher Organization that supports and enriches our students, teachers and schools by fundraising for music, art, library and technology programs, while also providing teacher classroom funds, and engaging families through community events.
